Jane Addams, Nobel Peace Prize winner and founder of Chicago's Hull House, was born in Cedarville in 1860. You can tour Cedarville's Jane Addams Museum. Freeport native Robert Johnson founded Black Entertainment Television (BET) in 1980, became the first black billionaire and proceeded to co-own a pro basketball team with Michael Jordan and rapper Nelly.
